(LR) DunbarPreservationAction (DPA) inform ethnic heritage about the Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District and value of education as a means to an end.  (LR) (DP) advocates about the Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District in preserving cultural and architectural heritage, community values and traditions.


(LR) DunbarPreservationAction supports cultural preservation of the Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District and Africana-American values and tradition and historically Africana-American properties and protection of.  The Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District is a National Register of Historic Places and nomination (September 2013). 


The "District" is representative of the depth and breadth of the historic Dunbar School neighborhoods and cultural heritage of many Negro students whom walked to and fro daily entering into the Paul Laurence Dunbar School and education gateway from 1929 -1969.   

 

Historic architecture and styles are readily visible throughout the historic Dunbar School neighborhoods of the beloved Paul Laurence Dunbar School.  The "District" boundaries are drawn upon close proximity of Africana-American properties bearing historical significance and an aggregate of 51%.


(LR) DunbarPreservationAction advances cultural preservation and identity as well architectural heritage and protection of the Little Rock (AR) Paul Laurence Dunbar School Neighborhood Historic District.
